Dating - Are You Shy With Opposite Sex
Many of us are shy talking to the opposite sex. That takes us no where. We are scared of talking to any person of opposite sex. Something happens that stops us. Why do we get scared? We are not scared of talking to persons of our own sex. We are confident about ourselves. We have enough self-esteem, and we value ourselves as desirable. Then why? It is as if there is a switch in the mind that is switched off and says no when it comes to talking with persons of opposite sex.
What can be done about this? This problem has to do with our mind. Our mind tells us that we are not worthy. We may be rejected. We may be laughed at. Our mind warns us to defend ourselves from this and says no - you are not to approach anyone from the opposite sex. This is the mechanism of mind. Fight or flight. In this case, we resort to flight. But with this running away, we will never get a desirable partner. We will always remain alone and only wistfully watch other couples going around. So what should we do?
The very first step in such cases is to evaluate our self and compare ourselves with our friends. Are we as smart as they are? Are we as intelligent as they are? Are we as confident as they are? Are we as presentable as they are? Is our personality equally good? On most of these issues you may find that you are scoring more points than your friends. So one thing is established. You are a desirable person. If your friends are not shy, why are you? Gather the strength and approach persons of opposite sex with confidence. Don’t worry about rejections. There can be many reasons for that. Approach smartly and you will surely get some one good to date. Good Luck.

Starting Off Running on the Right Foot
Starting out in running should be simple, stress-free and fun. It is a time to enjoy yourself, not to weigh yourself down with expectations and unlikely goals. In fact, I believe the reason so many runners don’t keep up their running after the first few attempts is because they fail to make it the release valve it should be, and let it become yet another stress in our already stressful lives. Once it becomes a duty or a drudge you’re just around the corner from giving up - another broken New Year’s resolution to haunt you year after year!
So, how about this for advice: if you’re doing a run but you’re out of breath and you’re honestly not enjoying it well just stop. Walk for a while or just sit on the grass. Enjoy the scenery, watch the other runners, listen to the birds (or the cars). Maybe do some stretching. Be honest, would it be that bad if you never got round to running and just walked every day for 30 minutes? If you were taking no exercise before, this is a huge improvement in your fitness.
You will run when you’re ready, when you want to, and when it’s fun.
The second big mistake is burn out. Most people can manage a big one-off effort if they must. This is what you see when people are shamed into doing some parent and child event for charity. Mums and Dads who have hardly raised themselves from the couch in ten years drag themselves round a circuit without any training. This is how some people start out on their training program, with the one big effort to prove themselves. Unfortunately with untrained muscles, you may need two weeks off before you’re fit to go again. By which time you’re just as unfit as you were to begin with, and the next session feels just as hard as the first. It would have been far better to do 15 minutes of perfectly manageable walking or jogging every two or three days, because your muscles would begin to get used to the idea of running, your lungs would begin to open a little. You’d be building up rather than breaking down
William Mann is a keen and passionate runner. Well aware of how diffucult it can be to fit everything you need into a day. By approaching running as a purely enjoyable activity he has shown how it is possible for you to run for life. Learning to listen to you body and respect its needs is the key to lifelong running. His book Run Forever shows just what that means in practice. An easy step by step guide to get you running or keep you running fit.

Tags:Bath Time Fun
Bath time can be fun or it can be a real hassle if your child is afraid or don’t like it. So we as mothers try to make it a fun time for our little ones! Then the problem will be getting them out!
Color It
Bubble bath can be irritating to little ones causing urinary track infections, yeast infections as well as skin irritation. A few drops of food coloring are a wonderful solution adding interest and fun to your child’s bath. You can also turn each bath into a learning experience drop one color in such as red then ask your child what they think will happen if you add a drop of yellow.
Measure It
Measuring cups are fun for pouring and filling in the tub and if you have an old set they are a great free fun set of toys for the tub. They can stack and pour to their hearts content and maybe even learn to wet their hair for washing, control gives many children the power to over come fears such as getting their hair wet for washing.
Learning time can be created threw the use of the measures .Take the one cup measuring cup and ask the child how many of each cup it will take to fill your big cup.
Bath Body Paints
You must you super vision with young children, but we all know you must supervise young children in the bath any how
In a few small cups put some hypoallergenic shaving cream (test on the child a few days before on a very small spot for allergies) then add a few drops food coloring to the desired color. Mix well. Your child can then enjoy painting their toes, legs and belly. I would discourage using it in the face area. These paints are very easy to clean up.
Sing Songs Together
Kids love to sing and to be sung to. Bath time songs like rubber ducky and Splish splash I was taking a bath are great bath time songs. When my children were very young we played this little piggy as I washed each toe.
My Dolly Too
Little ones like to do as their parents do. Bringing a doll into the tub for them to wash is often great fun. Show them how to shampoo and rinse the dolls hair. My daughters all loved to wash their dolls hair as I washed theirs. They were so preoccupied they did not even care that theirs was being washed!
Gone Fishing
Wash well with soap and hot water the Styrofoam plates your meats come in. Once you have about four cut some fish shapes from them. You child can use the big one cup measuring cup to capture his fish!!! See how fast your little fisherman or fisher girl is at catching their fish! If the fish are different colors you can play fish store and request you special fish and watch them chase it around the tub. This one makes for lots of giggles.
Loops
I save my margarine tub covers and cut out the centers. My shampoo bottles make great posts to play ring toss with. My only caution is making sure when you cut out the centers there are no sharp edges. My older kids love to play this in the tub together.
Sponge Animals
Cut animal shapes from new sponges, frogs alligators sharks and fish are all popular bath choices but really the choices are endless you could even make a fleet of trucks for your little boy! Fabric puff paint would be great to lightly decorate one side of the sponge. Once it is dry they are grate bath time companions. They float as well as stick to the tub walls.
Bath Time Safety Tips
Never never leave a baby or toddler in the tub alone for any reason.
Use a good quality bath mat to help prevent slips and falls.
Run the water first test it and make sure it is not to hot or cold.
Never allow your child to run the hot tap.
Though bubble bath is great fun it can cause irritation to genitals make it a very rare treat if at all.
Make sure razors are put away out of reach.

Tags:First Time Mom Over 35 Finding the Support You Need
All first time expectant and new moms whether they are 22 or 42 underestimate the emotional and physical challenges created by pregnancy and the actual raising of an infant just to age one.
Because we, older moms, have waited so long to give birth we are afraid or ashamed to admit many of our feelings, feelings that are common with pregnancy and motherhood. An older expectant mom may be at her wits end dealing with the discomforts of pregnancy. She wonders how she will survive the remaining months of discomforts.
Or a new over 40 mom may secretly crave for and need time away from her little bundle of joy. In both of these cases, the moms may fear acknowledging these feelings may bring comments like ‘you should have thought about that before having a baby at your age.’ Other older moms may feel acknowledging these feelings mean they are not grateful for the beautiful gift God has given or that they aren’t good mothers. Neither of these statements is true.”
New and expectant moms over 35 and 40 face unique challenges. The medical challenges are most often addressed while overlooking the emotional challenges.
Many of us are caring for aging parents while raising toddlers. We’re experiencing postpartum and menopause issues at the same time. Combine all of this with dealing with ex-spouses, blended families, workplace issues and the day to day responsibility of being a new mom and things can get a little overwhelming at times.
Here are 5 ways to rejuvenate and find support:
1)Ask your spouse, a friend or relative to watch the baby while you take a 15 minute walk.
2)Read a funny short story or watch a funny video. Studies show that during laughter the body releases endorphins, the body’s natural painkiller, which relieves anxiety, tension and stress.
3)Talk to other women who were midlife moms and have raised their children to adulthood. Remember we are not the first generation to have children after 35.
4)Consider enlisting the services of a coach/consultant who specializes in midlife motherhood issues to help you through the most challenging times.
5)Let go of the idea that you can be a perfect mom. Instead move to a higher level in your spirituality through daily prayer and meditation. Get better acquainted with the Creator of the Universe.
Cynthia Wilson James is a childbirth educator, author, a midlife mom of two bubbly toddlers and a stepmom. She gave birth to her first child at 42 and a second child at age 44. She provides private telephone consultations to expectant and new moms over 35 and 40 and women considering late in life motherhood. You can reach her at her website http://www.inseasonmom.org
Tags:Free for a Small Fee
This sentence may look like an paradox but belive me it is not. Many websites offers high quality free stuff which unfortunetly rarely comes free. In this article i want to show you how to avoid such traps, because it definitely cannot be called free stuff.
When someone is giving me free stuff like an email adress(for sake of example) i expect this email to be free of charge, and i mean any charge, not only money but also free of tons of advertisments and other things. I understand that online companies want to make and this is ok (infact we are using free stuff to decrease our spends, so this is actually other side of the same coin), but why those companies can’t say: you don’t have to pay for this email but you must watch our advertisment one hour daily. Now this proboably wouldn’t bring any attention, but it would be truth.
So here are few rules of the thumb, how to avoid free stuff crap:
1. Never signup for free stuff where offered freebies are paid on other similar sites, this especially includes e-books, reports and other informational products.
2. Never reply to emails from unknown source, where sender offers you very valuable free stuff like watches or even ipods for just replying to his email. It can look like real deal but you can be sure that person which contacted you is a spammer, remember that you are safe as long as you do NOT reply to him.
3. Watch out for surveys where you can win vacation or even car for completing survey, while this can be real deal, be aware they may (and proboably will) want you to complete few related offers where you have to buy something in order to complete survey, so like i said in the beginning this is not really free stuff.
4. One more thing, there is numerous websites on the internet which offer free stuff or even money for your opinion and your personal information, they will have countless reasons why they need your personal informations, but NEVER give them this informations, especially when they do not post their contact info and website looks suspicious. Just remember your personal informations and privacy are worth much more then few dollars that they offer you.
Following this few rules will help you to avoid most of scammers who are trying to trick you to think that they actually have something valuable to offer.
Anyway i wish you best luck in finding free stuff because there are many fantastic offers on the net, you just have to know where to look for them. If you are interested in high quality free stuff and freebie offers you can visit my blog which contains great Free Stuff and Freebies Reviews.
Tags:Need Landscape Design Help This is The Time to Plan for Spring
The great thing about landscape designers is that they help expand your horizons and present you with exciting possibilities. Professional designers spend every working day solving problems most of us only face once or twice a lifetime - no wonder they have better landscape design ideas than we do!
A landscape or garden designer has knowledge and training on plants and landscape construction and can provide you with drawings, construction details and lists of suppliers and plants. Landscape architects have a degree and belong to a licensed professional association; they generally do higher-end residential or larger commercial projects. Be sure to check credentials, references and ask to see a portfolio.
Designers and landscape architects can help the process of finding a contractor, getting permits and overseeing your project to completion.
Landscape design costs
It’s difficult to generalize about fees, as they vary quite a bit, depending on where you live, the experience and training of the person you hire, and the scope of your project. A full landscape design (drawings showing landscape features and planting plan) can range from a couple of hundred dollars to over $1,000 or more, depending on the complexity of the design and the overall budget of the project.
Landscape designs for free? Too good to be true?
Be careful when garden centers or contractors offer “free” design services. They may be more interested in selling their plant inventory than creating a design that meets your needs. And the people hired to do these designs are generally not as experienced as someone who has invested time and training to become a professional landscape designer. Nothing is really free: design costs are built into the mark-up on plants and materials.
You say formal, I say casual
Be as clear as you can about what you want - a good reason to have pictures on hand. Garden magazines are full of inspiring ideas. Be upfront too about how much you have to spend. Professional landscaping usually costs a little more than you think it will.
Think ahead, way ahead
Every spring, landscape madness grips every neighborhood in the country. “Let’s do that project we’ve been thinking about,” everybody says, all at the same time.
Spring fever means that landscape designers and contractors are run off their feet. If you want your work done early in the season, contact landscape pros the previous fall or in early winter - they’ll love you for it - and you’ll have their full attention.
Fall can be a much less hectic time to have a landscape project done - and it’s still warm enough for construction and planting in many parts of the country. Of course, if you’re lucky enough to live where winters are warm, landscape projects can be spread over more months of the year, but even so, spring is still a busy time.
Garden writer, photographer and lecturer Yvonne Cunnington gardens on a country acreage, where she has plenty of space to try out the new plants and garden design ideas that she writes about. She is the author of a book for beginner gardeners, Clueless in the Garden: A Guide for the Horticulturally Helpless. Tags:Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts Will Help Army Recruiting Challenges
Over the last year the United States Army has been challenged in meeting their recruiting efforts. Many believe this is due to the media skew on the war and the bias against the reasoning for the war in Iraq. As America watches in horror our fellow citizens in crisis and the wonderful job being done by the armed forces in the rescue efforts, people are starting to see exactly what we are really doing around the world as we remain to re-build these countries after riding them of their tyrannical leaders. Sometimes folks do not understand our mission in the world.
They may not have understood the incredible crisis of the Tsunami in Indonesia, sure they saw it on TV, but had no idea something like that could happen here? They had no idea how our US Military came to the aide of those in need. Well now you know. We all know, what a great job we are doing. It is wonderful in our wealthy nations that we even have the vast amount of resources to deal with these things.
Our Military helps protect our nation from the challenges of the world whether man-made problems or the reality of living on the hostile surface of our planet. Many will be watching the rescuers and heroes in the tragedy with admiration and awe. Now we can all understand our role and mission in places around the world and why you must stay the course and complete the goals of restoring order, safety and infrastructure not only in our Gulf Coastline, but in those other places we are deployed around the world. If that is not a good enough calling or reason to join the United States Army, then one would wonder what reason would be. Think on this.

Tags:The Tour De France - An Introduction
For experienced followers of the Tour De France, the colours, speeds and craziness of it all is exciting, inspiring and totally addictive. For those watching for the first time, however, like being dropped in the middle of a city without a map, it’s daunting and confusing.
The Tour De France in every sense is vast
Comprising twenty two teams, one hundred and ninety eight riders, four different competitions, two and a half thousand kilometres, two of the world’s biggest mountain ranges and a supporting cast of hundreds of team cars, coaches, motorcyclists and helicopters, its numbers dwarf all other sporting events.
Taking three weeks to complete, the Tour draws the world’s biggest live and televisual audience. No event, not even The Olympics or World Cup inspires more people to forget about their everyday life and involve themselves with the drama of sport. In 2004 nearly a million people gathered on one 17km stretch of the Alpe D’huez climb alone. It’s audience figures are even more remarkable when remembered that unlike the World Cup or Olympics, the Tour is an annual event, and far from waning, interest in the Tour grows every year.
HIstory
The Tour was born in 1902 when Geo Lefevre put forward the idea of a cycle race that circum-navigated France to his two friends Henri Desgrange and Victor Goddet. Desgrange and Goddet, editor and accountant of the sporting publication ‘L’Auto’ were looking for ways to boost circulation, and put the attractive, if crazy idea into motion the following year.
The very first Tour De France left Paris on July 1st 1903. The uninitiated balk at the distances the modern day Tour riders cover, which can be over 200km a day. Imagine, then, the strength and determination required to ride the very first stage of that very first Tour, which incredibly started in Paris and finished in Lyon: A staggering 467km. More remarkable when one considers that roads in turn of the century France are not as they are now, and that bikes in the early 1900s did not have gears!
The inaugural Tour was ridden by 73 riders over eighteen days, six stages and 2,428km and proved a huge success. Boosting sales for L’auto and cycle manufacturers Le Francais, whose team won it, the Tour had also captured the imagination of the French public. Over a hundred years later it is more popular than ever, drawing a world-wide audience, and whilst the founding ethos remains the same, the race has changed somewhat.
The Modern Tour De France
The Tour De France comprises four different competitions, the leaders of which are awarded different coloured jerseys at the end of each day’s racing or stage. The overall leader wears the famed Yellow Jersey or Maillot Jaune, the heroic King of the Mountains is in the equally prestigious Polka Dot Jersey, whilst the points leader and best young rider wear the Green and White Jerseys respectively. To wear the Yellow Jersey, even if only for a day, represents for many riders the pinnacle of their career.
The Tour is designed to showcase the different types of cycling and thus now has about 20 stages which fall into three categories. Flat Stages, contested by the Sprinters, Mountain Stages, which are dominated by the climbers and Time Trials for the riders who can push a big gear around a course ranging from 40 to 60km. Every rider must complete every stage and specialists tend to dislike other disciplines; climbers for example don’t traditionally make good time triallists and sprinters don’t like climbing.
In recent years the Tour’s validity has been questioned in the light of drug enhanced performances. Some say it’s symptomatic of our society, but we should not let the actions of a few tarnish the reputation and honour of the many. To watch a rider battle an Alpine Col after cycling nearly 200kms in blistering heat is to witness a very human, and thus, very inspiring drama. To continue when every sinew and muscle is screaming for cessation, to meet one’s doubts head on and to triumph is to distil in sport the human condition.
Please see my other articles on the Tour De France for more detailed information on this magical race.

Tags:Cheap Dates Are Fun
Have you considered dating more and spending less? Cheap dates are the answer, if you are single and want to have some fun, memorable times.
The rising costs of housing, gas, food, and entertainment have brought us to the necessity of discovering new and imaginative ways to date. If you are single and want to be social, there are some great off-the-beaten-path places to go and things to do. If you are strapped for funds but want to have fun, you may want to think about some of the following:
Cheap Dates
*Your Personal Chef Bake-off
Invite your love interest over to read a cook book. Each of you choose a recipe, write down the ingredients, and go to the store together. Keep the recipe as simple and as cost effective as possible, depending on how flush you feel that week. Come back home to cook and prepare a meal for each other.
*Freebies and almost freebies
Local breweries or wineries offer free tours and then free beer or wine at the end of the tour. If you do not have any wineries or breweries near you, look for farmers who allow you to pick fruit or vegetables at a fraction of the cost that you would pay in the store. There are seasons for berries, peaches, melons, tomatoes and more. Watch your local calendar and announcements in the paper for when you can eat, drink and be merry.
*The zoo is for you
The time to visit the zoo is in the middle of the week in the middle of the day. If you and your date can ever steal away from your work at the same time, you will discover lion feeding time, animals being washed, pens being cleaned out, and caretakers willing to talk. This is a roaring good date.
Have you played a board game lately? Perhaps it is time to rediscover Monopoly, Checkers, Chutes and Ladders, or Scrabble. Card games are always a good bet when you can find one that you both enjoy. An afternoon of soup and sandwiches, a good Board game, and the winner gets to plan the next date, can be a time of conversation and sharing and growing closer. Being a game player can be a good thing.
Rising costs and cheap dates may bring us something we had not thought about but which our soul was longing for: time to connect with each other. Who would have thought we could have discovered a way to meaningful conversation, communication, and bonding when we started planning for–a cheap date?

Tags:No Time to Scrapbook
No time to scrapbook? Here are 9 ways you can make more time for scrapbooking.
1. Record your “why.” Make a list of all the reasons you love to scrapbook. What does it do for you
personally; for your family; for generations to come?. Ask your family and friends, “why are you glad
that I scrapbook?” The answers may surprise you. Scrapbook these answers and hang the finished piece
in your scrap space. Seeing the motivation hanging before you will make scrapbooking seem less self-indulgent.
2. Book it. Write in time for scrapbooking on your calendar or on your weekly to-do list. When you
schedule specific scrapbooking time, you may be more committed to keeping that time for yourself.
3. Let go. Remember that each page you scrapbook is a reflection of you at this moment, and sometimes
that means the layouts have to be simple and quick. It’s important to be able to let go of a layout without
holding yourself to a certain standard each time. Don’t taint the joy of scrapbooking by making it
one more thing you have to do.
4. Get inspired. If you feel like you aren’t getting enough accomplished or you’re feeling
burned out, find inspiration in fresh design books or a new magazine subscription. Or slam out some quick
pages with a page kit.
5. Fresh products. Subscribe to a monthly auto-ship kit. When you invest in your scrapbooking habit at
regular intervals, fresh ideas and inspiration — appropriate for the season, come right to your doorstep.
Encourage a few friends to
join and- viola - instant club! And you won’t spend so much time wandering the aisles of your local
crapbooking store (Unless of course you want to) because all of the supplies already coordinate.
6. Organize. Make your supplies and tools easy to get to and to find. Get the organizational system you
need to make the best use of your time. Tidy and organize your area as soon as you are finished with a
layout or project so it doesn’t become daunting to go there the next time.
7. Scrapbook with your family. Scrapbooking itself can create some magical family moments. Even young
children can get started with their own creations. I love to watch my children record their memories and
create cards for friends.
8. Start (or join) a scrapbook club. Get a few friends together to scrapbook at a regular time each week
or month. When we have someone that is waiting to meet us there, we are more inclined to hold the commitment.
9. Make it your business. Become a scrapbooking instructor or consultant. When you move from the spending
side of our favorite hobby to the earning side, you may be surprised how much family support you’ll get.
When scrapbooking is your hobby *and* your job, all of your creations become “demo pages,” too —
and that is multi-tasking at its finest.
